ONE KITE 2007 |
SIZES: 7m, 9m, 12m, 16m
New for 2007
After the huge success of
the One in 2006 our ultimate
design goal of a single kite
quiver remains unchanged for
2007.
For 2007 we’ve maintained
the massive wind range while
increasing turning speed and
bar input through
refinements in the bridle
and panel layout. The One
is Ocean Rodeo’s ultimate
big air, free ride kite that
will let you get the most
out of the wind conditions
with a single kite.
Style: Flat Kite SLE (bridle
supported leading edge)
Featuring our Flat Kite
design the One allows the
rider to maximize the power
of a smaller kite thanks to
a flatter canopy profile.
This equates to more power
per square meter. This same
flat profile works the
opposite in stronger winds,
allowing the rider to sheet
out and put all the pull on
the leading edge of the
kite. This is as close to
full de-power as we have
ever been while still
maintaining control of the
kite.
Now with Speed Inflation
System.
Accelerate your launch time
with our unique Speed
Inflation System . The
struts and leading edge tube
are connected by an external
hose, which is secured by
our innovative clamping
system. This simple setup
requires no tools for
bladder servicing.
Flying Performance.
Jumping:
Get ready to go big! The ONE
delivers height, hang time
and glide like no other!
De-power:
Thanks to the One’s massive
sheeting range complete
de-power is made possible by
simply sheeting out the
control bar. Trim the bar in
for low-end power, sheet out
for handling the gusts.
Micro trim adjustments can
be made by pulling in or
releasing the easy to reach
trim line from the chicken
loop mounted cleat.
Turning:
For 2007 we’ve tightened up
the One’s turning arc to
allow improved kite looping
and power generation.
Advanced riders will find
more bottom end thanks to
the quicker turn.
Re-launch:
Simply pull on a back line
to flip the kite over and
up. Traditional re- launch
technique used on C shaped
inflatable kites will also
work.
Construction
We coined the term “Built
Tough” back in 2002 and have
never looked back! Our
innovative Dacron shock
strips and frame
construction have
revolutionized the
industry. With the highest
quality in raw material
Ocean Rodeo continues its
reputation as the world
leader in tube kite
durability.
SXS SHOX STRIPS
SXS Dacron Shox strips
create a Dacron framework
that takes the brunt of the
load over the canopy of the
kite. SXS construction
prevents tears and controls
canopy distortion. SXS =
unmatched durability.
BUCK STITCHING
The triple Buck Stitch
spreads the load evenly over
the seam, eliminating short
spaced needle holes that can
lead to seam failure. 3x the
strength!!!
C3 LEADING EDGE
C3 leading edge spreads the
wind load over a smooth,
kink free arc. C3 leading
edges withstand self-launch
abuse and catastrophic
crashes - which can cause
traditional segmented
leading edges to fail.
INTEGRATED STRUTS and DACRON
TUBES
Constructed with tough
Dacron our integrated struts
help prevents canopy
distortion during
high-powered maneuvers,
resulting in a better
performing kite!
HD PU KITE BLADDERS
Our leading edge and strut
bladders are made with
rugged 110 micron
Polyurethane with UV
inhibitor. The toughest
tubes on the market.
SCUFF PADS
Located along the leading
and trailing edge, scuff
pads protect stitches from
being worn.
